Walking the CEDIA trade show floors at the Denver Convention Center, our small-town senses were literally blown away by speaker manufacturers, visual lighting ensembles and the sheer mass of humans in one room.
Exploring the arena for healthy home products to improve and enhance my Steamboat Colorado clients' indoor environment brought me purpose. New this year is the ability to monitor and control our wellness products, hence the intrigue of the custom electronics rodeo (as well as supporting Thomas and the Cloud 9 Integrated Systems crew). Click here for a short video from the showroom floor.
Our air purification product now includes a communication chip that will react to air quality sensors. Our under-sink water filter provides real time tracking on particle count, usage and filter life. The leakage detection system utilizes a hub to gather data from the sensors and mainline gauge to provide real-time reporting to the app.
Bringing these home systems together into a user-friendly visual is done by RePure. Their mobile system gathers a variety of metrics then reports the quality of the air and water in relation to the health of your indoor living environment. This stoplight rating system can be reported to your home control system like Crestron, Control4 or to their proprietary RePure mobile application.
This is what I was searching for! The home wellness industry is at just the beginning of what is possible for tracking the quality of our most impactful resources related to our personal health - air and water. I am
looking forward to returning annually to see the industry progress and bringing home to Steamboat the newest healthy home iteration for our clients.
